AACT & Ptable.com Lesson Plan Contest
AACT is excited to host a content writing contest in partnership with ptable.com. The contest is open to current AACT members. Winners will create an exciting and unique lesson plan using ptable.com to be published on the AACT website. Two winners will be chosen, one at the K–8 level and another at the high school level. Winners will each earn $500 for their participation and a free periodic table poster from ptable.com!
To
enter the contest, please complete
the entry form. You will be
required to summarize a lesson plan idea specifically using
ptable.com that
is either appropriate for a
K–8 classroom or a high school classroom.
We are looking for unique and exciting lesson ideas!
You may submit more
than one entry
. If chosen, you will create a full lesson plan, using an
AACT template for the specific lesson idea described in the winning
entry.

AP Chemistry Content Writing Team
AACT is recruiting AP chemistry teachers to create AP chemistry focused teaching resources for our High School Classroom Resource Library. Specifically, teachers will focus on creating teaching resources directly related to the Learning Objectives identified in Big Ideas 4, 5 and 6. Participants who are selected to be part of the content writing team will earn $1,000!
This
content writing team will be comprised of
three teachers and
participation will be required during an 8-week period, beginning in
June and ending in August. You must be an AACT member to apply.
