    The Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) is a national meeting sponsored by the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society. The conference is designed for middle school science teachers, secondary school chemistry teachers, graduate students, and college chemistry faculty. The conference will be held on the beautiful campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR from July 18 - 23, 2020.

    The Extreme STEM symposium is for middle school and high school students and features interactive presentation that will inspire young students about careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The conference will be on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

    Discover Plasma Science Teacher Day & Student Expo

    Bring your middle and high school students to a science expo of hands-on science education. American Physical Society (APS), affiliated labs and institutions, as well as local business, colleges and universities, provide physics demonstrations that reflect their scientific pursuits and goals. Discover plasma science with researchers from laboratories around the country at our free science events in Ft. Lauderdale, FL being held in October 2019.

    The Science Teacher Day connects key concepts from Florida state standards and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to plasma science and fusion energy, providing a unique way to make the fundamentals new and exciting. It is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina.

    The Plasma Science Expo will allow you and your students to engage with scientists on the cutting edge of fusion energy and plasma research, exposing students to new fields and career paths they might otherwise never experience. It will be held on October 24 – 25, 2019 at the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
